The following are guidelines for the program, however, upon request training can be customized to meet the needs of your group.

Training Needs |
Indoor: Meeting room large enough to fit group comfortably Outdoor: Wooded site with at least one tree per participant and one or more trees for the trainer of varying sizes to cut. Ideally field site will be away from homes, power lines, traffic, etc. |

Equipment |
All participants must wear hardhats, eye protection, and ear protection at all times during field portion of the day. While using the chain saw, participants must also wear cut resistant boots and chaps/protective pants. (Personal Protective Equipment or PPE) Participants may bring their own equipment, saw, and tools if in good working condition. FISTA has chaps and saws available for use at each session. |
